Popular travel rating website Airlineratings.com has declared the champions of the Best luxury air travel, and Qantas, along with Singapore Airlines are the winners. The results were announced after the examination of in-flight services of more than 450 airlines.

Geoffrey Thomas, AirlineRatings.com Editor-In-Chief, remarked that it was not surprising that Qantas, Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific Airways, Singapore Airlines, Etihad Airways and the Virgin Group featured so significantly in the Top Ten selections, as these airlines have been time after time a byword for in-flight excellence and service.
