Private jetting experience has opened a whole new market with aviation mavericks offering services no longer the privilege of A-listers. Within minutes you can book a charter flight on your iPhone for a hugely reasonable price. You can Uber pool and check out what’s available at the destination of your choice.

Victor, a private aviation company, was born out of CEO Clive Jackson’s vision to enable customers to get more hours in their day by offering personal aviation flexibility. Jackson explains that they would allow customers to book via web or app (without a broker) with transparent pricing. He adds that in a sharing economy, on-demand business operations play a vital role in making people’s lives more efficient. Victor was the first aviation company to disclose crew and aircraft specifics, with comparisons of jets at 40,000 airports worldwide, with estimated pricing.

Many other apps have been launched in the last five years, like JetSuite and SurfAir. But for a few, the best way to travel is with a trusted band like the private aviation company, Tradewind, based in the US. Tradewind does not believe in being the Uber for private jets and offers all personal charter perks inclusive of free snacks and drinks. Founder of Tradewind, David Zipkin, says that since 2001 Tradewind had been operating its fleet of Pilatus aircraft and have been hugely reliable.

Jet Linx CEO, Jamie Walker, says that the new demand so far had not affected their client base as their clientele desired a more personalised approach inclusive of vigorous safety standards.

The private aviation industry is changing with this new personal jetting experience being offered to consumers. CEO of Embraer Executive Jets, Marco Tulio Pellegrini, says that the charter operators in the US, Brazil, and Europe were consulting with them to identify opportunities. He adds that the Embraer Phenom jets are designed with 1,200 annual flight hours for thirty years, including high availability, high utilisation, low operating costs, comfort, and outstanding performance.

With an expanding base of customers, the US’s airlines served close to 800 million passengers, and in Asia, the trend slanted to the business traveller. According to Embraer, the Chinese business aviation market has been growing exponentially.

The private jetting experience will only propel further, so relax and enjoy hitting the skies.
