The UAE businessmen are taking their fast, vivid, and luxurious lifestyle to the skies by flying in the latest business jets. During the recent Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) show, it was projected that the UAE was the second-largest buyer of mid-to-large private jets out of the total of 293 aircraft that were delivered to the Middle East between 2006 and 2015.

Data released at the MEBAA showed that the UAE topped in taking the most number of large jets. The number of jets delivered to Turkey (77), UAE (63) and Saudi Arabia (58).

It is also reported that Global Jet Capital, a financier for large-cabin, long-range private jets, revealed through new research, that 293 mid to large private jets were delivered to the Middle East between 2006 and 2015. This is estimated to have a combined value of over $14.65 billion.

These aircraft typically cost between $25 million and $75 million each, and up to 80% of the funding is sourced through external financing.
UAE topped the large private jet delivery with 56 jets, followed by Turkey (45), Saudi Arabia (39) and Qatar (19). The region is reported to have received between 2006 and 2015 a total of 49 midsize jets, 222 large jets, and 22 jet airliners.

A Global Jet forecast said that around 350 new business jets would be delivered to the Middle East over the next ten years, which s estimated at roughly $10.5 billion. Of which about 220 of these jets would be in the medium to large category.

Around 59% of business aviation professionals believe that the Middle East private jet market is currently attractive for finance companies as per new research from Global Jet Capital. Also, reported that around 15% think that it is unattractive.

Also reported that in Mideast, there are around 739 business jets. Out of these, 83 business airliners, 112 large jets, 537 mid-sized jets, four-light jets, and three very light jets.
