Acropolis Aviation has just signed a deal with Airbus stating that they will be the launch customer of the new ACJ320neo, said to be entering service early 2020.

Acropolis Aviation, one of Europe’s top luxury air charter companies, states that the new charter plane will have a range of 6,000nm/11,100km giving it the capability to fly from London to Los Angeles, London to Johannesburg or London to Tokyo direct and London to Sydney with only one refuelling stop! The ACJ320neo will also have 1,033 square feet of cabin space and the capacity to hold 140 bags and seat 19 passengers. Interior photos of the new private jet charter have not been released yet. Still, from the looks of Acropolis’ ACJ319, which began operations in 2010, we can expect top of the line performance and a luxurious VVIP (Very Very Important Person) cabin.
The ACJ319 has become immensely popular with the upscale charter clients in the Middle East, the United States and Europe. Seeing that the ACJ320neo will surpass the ACJ319 with 150 more square feet of cabin space, quieter cabin, lower cabin altitude for improved passenger comfort and the improved range, it is expected to WOW the aviation industry and plane charter clients.
According to the press release, the ACJ320neo is already the fastest-selling commercial airliner EVER, having around 3,800 firm orders from 71 clients. The aircraft was initially launched in December 2010 and will be delivered to its first operator, Qatar Airways in 2015. Making its maiden flight in September 2014, this single-aisle Airbus has a takeoff distance of 1,980m at MTOW of 79 tonnes. Acropolis CEO states that Acropolis is committing to providing their clientele with the newest and ultimate large-cabin aircraft well into the next decade.
