Fly soon to NY, in 2 Hours in Boeing’s Hypersonic Jet

Technology could soon facilitate ramjets and in two decades fliers could reach New York in around two hours from New Delhi, according to Dinesh Keskar, Senior Vice- President, Asia Pacific and India, Boeing. Frequent fliers to the US city could now look forward to the flight duration getting cut down in the near future. Boeing and NASA have reportedly partnered to develop the supersonic and hypersonic planes.

Time is a crucial aspect for critical care patients. And, patients in regional Australia will soon experience the benefit of getting treated by doctors on medical jets, which would be a genuine time-and-life saviour. The Swiss company, Pilatus has reportedly spent around three years designing the $13 million purpose-built jets for Australia’s Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). Embraer recently introduced a disruptive and technologically advanced pair of new private jets in Orlando, Florida dubbed the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600, which will launch in 2019. The Praetor 500/600 are the Brazilian aerospace company’s newest entrants in the mid-size and the super mid-size private jet market. And, the Embraer’s is based on the existing Legacy 450, with the update in terms of range, as the Praetor 500 is capable of going 3,740 miles and the Praetor 600 can go up to 4,500 miles.

Battery-Powered Electric Plane Takes Off First Flight in Australia

The world seems all set to transcend into the future of all-electric vehicles (EVs), and it would only seem plausible that EVs would be featured in aeroplanes. In this context, startup Electro.Aero and Slovenian light aircraft manufacturer Pipistrel have recently started a battery-powered electric plane test flight in Perth, Australia. The test flight recently marked the first electric light-sport aircraft and was also certified in the country.
