Business aviation in China continues to flourish, having moved beyond its infancy. In the mid-1990s, Deer Jet, an arm of Hainan Airlines Group, had launched the country’s first business aviation charter service. Today, Chinese business aviation is evolving in a multitude of positive ways.

Deer Jet was recently awarded the World’s Leading Private Jet Charter by the World Travel Awards (WTA) for its world-class services, operational excellence, and visionary global plans. Deer Jet has won the coveted award for the second consecutive year. World Travel Awards celebrates its 23rd anniversary and has been established as a premium travel accolade worldwide. WTA focuses on celebrating those organisations that have pushed the boundaries of business aviation excellence.

The vice President of Deer Jet, Frank Fang, expressed that it was a proud moment to be named the world’s leading private jet company. He added that the year saw many achievements, which reiterated its commitment to providing the ultimate luxury VIP experience.

The company received many awards, certifications, and recognitions earlier this year, for excellence in safety and operations. This includes the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Corporate Safety Awards for 21 years of accident-free flying.

Since 1995, when the company was founded to date, Deer Jet now operates and manages a fleet of 90 aircraft flying to almost 820 airports across 180 countries and territories. It is also the most extensive business jet operator in Asia, and the only company managing the BBJ787 “Dream Jet” in the world.
The largest FBO network in China is owned by Deer Jet. The company also recently partnered with World Fuel Services Air Elite Network for the first time. Now there are eight Deer Jet FBOs added in Shenzen, Haikou, Sanya, Nanning, Hangzhou, Guilin, Xianyang, and Changsha. Li Zheng, Executive Vice President, Deer Jet, said that it was a proud moment to partner with World Fuel Services and become Air Elite’s first member in Asia.
Deer Jet is actively involved in a global expansion process through strategic investments and partnerships with some of the top business aviation industries.

The company founded Honk Kong jet and is also a significant shareholder in Asia Jet and Hawker Pacific. Also, before the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) show this year, Deer Jet completed its acquisition of the majority of shares of the flight support provider, UAS International Trip Support.

Deer Jet seems committed to delivering the best services to its customers. The recent awards and efforts towards expansion are steps towards staying poised at global excellence.
